At Ocean Decade Australia we pride ourselves on high quality, relevant and timely conversations and story-telling #fortheocean
Our aim is to build stages for many to stand on, to amplify their stories and build new networks and collaborations.
The Summit is an invitation to consider, discuss, and act on the opportunities the ocean offers to business, through the lens of value, driven by global frameworks including the Taskforce on Nature-Related Financial Disclosures and Australia’s leadership through the Ocean Panel and commitment to delivering a Sustainable Ocean Plan by 2025.
The past 24 months has seen the earth and the ocean literally shifting under us – and with that, so shifts the world of corporations, markets and what their shareholders and customers are seeking. The increased global focus on environment and climate, the geopolitical context the world faces, and the changing regulatory environment are complex dimensions to navigate, bringing with them risks and rewards.
Ocean Decade Australia respects and acknowledges the First Nations people of the land and waterways across Australia as the continuing custodians of Country and Culture. We pay our respect to First Nations peoples and their Elders, past and present.
