We demonstrate accountability, drive momentum, and inspire collective action towards a more sustainable and resilient ocean ecosystem.
We convene forums and facilitate discussions, foster collaboration, and enable cross-sectoral dialogue. These forums provide a unique space where diverse stakeholders can come together to exchange ideas, share expertise, and collectively address complex challenges facing society. In doing so, we grow ocean literacy and build new networks, collaborations and partnerships.
The inaugural Australian Ocean Business Leaders' Summit was established as a gathering of participants across business, finance, research, science, community and government stakeholders to broker dialogue and develop a vision for Australia's sustainable ocean economy by 2030.
The formal output of the Ocean Business Leaders' Summit synthesises the discussions, perspectives and insights shared by the Summit's participants. Its purpose is to help inform the development of Australia's sustainable ocean plan that aims to deliver a thriving sustainable ocean economy by 2050. The Summit White Paper is an endorsed action of the United Nations Ocean Decade.
