ECONOMIST | The INSTITUTE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL-ECONOMIC ACCOUNTING
Reiss McLeod is an environmental economist specialising in natural capital accounting. Reiss works with clients, including business and government, to understand and measure their dependencies and impacts on natural capital.
Reiss’s approach to Natural Capital Accounting is underpinned by an International Standard: the United Nations System of Environmental-Economic Accounting (SEEA) and he applies this standard to produce environmental and economic information, which clients use to meet their sustainability objectives.
Reiss has worked with the Commonwealth Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment, and The Nature Conservancy to apply natural capital accounting to oceans.
