AusSeabed Program Lead | Geoscience Australia
Kim is a passionate marine geoscientist who has been with Geoscience Australia since 2012. Kim has been the AusSeabed Steering Committee Chair since its inception in 2018, and is the deputy-chair of Australia's National Marine Science Committee.
In Feb 2021, she was appointed as an lOC-affiliated member to the General Bathymetric Chart of the Ocean (GEBCO) Guiding Committee, showing her commitment to working with the international community to raise the profile of seabed mapping and marine geology globally. Over her 20 years career, Kim has worked for three international geological surveys and has sailed on over 30 multi-disciplinary expeditions around the globe.
