We are finalists in the 'Healthy Planet, Healthy People' category - recognising the vital work we do here at ODA to figure out how to use the Ocean without using it up. We rely on a healthy ocean for the air we breathe, nutrition, energy, transport, connection, recreation (the list goes on) so a healthy ocean = healthy people AND a healthy planet.

As part of our Ocean Knowledge Series, Ocean Decade Australia hosted an online briefing to learn from Australia’s Federal Government experts on the High Level Panel for Sustainable Ocean Economy and Australia’s Sustainable Ocean Plan.
